Welcome to my blog! Today, I will be sharing with you a delicious recipe for Chicken Shawarma.
Ingredients:
– 2 lbs of chicken thighs
– 2 tablespoons of garlic powder
– 2 tablespoons of onion powder
– 1 teaspoon of thyme
– 2 teaspoons of cumin
– 2 teaspoons of paprika
– 2 teaspoons of ground coriander
– 1 teaspoon of tumeric
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, cumin, paprika, ground coriander, turmeric, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt and pepper to create a marinade.
3. Place chicken thighs in a shallow dish and pour marinade over. Let stand for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
4. Arrange chicken thighs on a baking sheet and bake for 11 minutes.
5. Turn chicken over and bake for additional 10 minutes.
6. Serve Chicken Shawarma warm with hummus or tahini sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
